The Rhode Island Birder's Dozen is made up of 12 forest birds that have been identified to represent priority habitat types of conservation needed in Rhode Island. Come learn who are the priority birds, their habitat and what can we do for them. This sourdough workshop will go over the basics of managing a sourdough starter, creating the dough, and baking a loaf! Participants will take home a starter and ready-to-bake dough. Please bring an apron and a mixing bowl.

The RI Resource Conservation and Development Council will present on the evergreen trees of Rhode Island! As we proceed into winter, our deciduous trees have lost their leaves and we get to see our evergreens in the landscape. Come and learn about those conifers that stay green all the winter, who they are and how they make our landscape unique.
