Presented by Mad Science, this interactive show will teach participants about Newton's Laws of Motion. They will conduct experiments with gravity, balance, and kinetic beads. They may even remove a tablecloth from a table without even touching it! For grades 2-5.

Learn how to use the Chompsaw! We will learn the basics of the tool, practice using patterns to create 3D objects, and have free time to create custom designs.

This mending workshop will teach participants how to sew regular and shank style buttons, repair a fallen hem, lengthen or shorten a hem (may not be suitable for jean hems), and repair a seam!

The Rhode Island Birder's Dozen is made up of 12 forest birds that have been identified to represent priority habitat types of conservation needed in Rhode Island. Come learn who are the priority birds, their habitat and what can we do for them. Presented by Paul Dolan, Retired Deputy Chief of RI Forestry, Current Director of the Rhode Island Conservation and Development Council.

This sourdough workshop will go over the basics of managing a sourdough starter, creating the dough, and baking a loaf! Participants will take home a starter and ready-to-bake dough. Please bring an apron and a mixing bowl.

The RI Resource Conservation and Development Council will present on the evergreen trees of Rhode Island! As we proceed into winter, our deciduous trees have lost their leaves and we get to see our evergreens in the landscape. Come and learn about those conifers that stay green all the winter, who they are and how they make our landscape unique.
